Pretty sure Ken Hite wrote up something like that in passing.

Can someone who's not a white cis guy (or at least not the one I just blocked because he pulled a "gamers are the real persecuted minority" on someone) explain to me what the fuck "high trust gaming" is?@SJohnRoss talks a lot about "high trust gaming" but I don't think he means the same thing as here.

Calling on the knowledge of @juergen_hubert 'nIn the Baltic Sea region, we have lots of swamps that prevent microbial decay of organic material and rusting of metal.I recall various things he has translated deal with ghost disposal methods, and dumping them in swamps or ponds is one way.

Currently translating:An Austrian folk tale focusing on slaying a dragonLawrence Watt-Evans wattevans@bird.makeup wrote one of his Ethshar novels about a king offering rewards & marrying a princess for dragon slaying. The hero acquires a girlfriend along the way, so after slaying says, he'll take the rest of the reward, but no princess, thnx.
But it turns out the marriage isn't optional. The offer was less about getting rid of the dragon, it was about finding ostensibly worthy husbands for excess princesses.
Good thing polygamy is legal there.

I have very little experience with playing RPGs online and I had just assumed there exists some sort of an online tool for managing your game.I was in a group that started playing Pathfinder on one of the major VTT sites when covid hit, and I don't recall paying for a subscription or any books on the site.
We did use character sheets with rolling functions and such.
(I stopped playing a year or two ago for the usual external reasons.)
(It is possible the GM was paying for stuff but I'd be surprised.)

I am back in Germany, on a train carrying me back north, so it's a good time as any to take stock of my vacation in #Italy .Bologna has the oldest university in Europe, as I recall. Good law school. Which pretty much exhausts my knowledge of Bologna.
