Finally catching up on my own work tonight. The last few weeks have been filled with nothing but trying to cover for other departments' lack of planning. Feels nice to get back to my actual job for a change

The last time my wife handed me her phone to look at something in her web browser I asked if she needed anything in the open tabs. There were so many that Chrome no longer listed the number. I then had to disable notifications from who knows how many websites. It's probably time for me to do that again for her.

She's resistant to any kind of change, so changing browsers or adding a VPN is out of the question for her.

Guess that means I'm all up in your ex wife

I made some tomato soup from scratch tonight and three things:
1- I somehow got lucky and bought exactly the right number of tomatoes to fill the cookie sheet which made it the perfect number of tomatoes.
2- I have dietary restrictions which means I can't really eat pizza which is my favorite and I managed to get this soup to taste like pizza. Major win for me.
3- Wife and daughter also enjoyed it, so big win there too

Idk, or just feel your feelings until you're ready to let go. It can sometimes take a while to build up the strength needed to move forward

But letting go of things you're holding on to frees up your hands to hold on to other things. But, I know it's hard. Every time you let something go, it feels like letting a piece of yourself go but, that's how we shape ourselves. We're all like big chunks of marble and we have to leave pieces of ourselves behind to reveal the sculpture underneath.

I always feel weird about complimenting strangers. I want to acknowledge that they're looking good or whatever but, I don't want them to think I'm available. I know that I shouldn't worry about it so much though, because the times I DO speak my mind have all been good interactions.

Doctor's appointment went well. He wants a few more tests done before deciding that brain surgery is actually going to be the way to go. He was thorough and took time with us, going over lots of possibilities and options, describing how different procedures work.

After the appointment we decided on going for some Indian food since it fits all of our dietary needs and went for a cookie after. Going into the appointment was stressful but leaving felt like some relief with more questions. I've been awake for about 20 hours now, so forgive me if I've rambled a bit. For now, a short nap and then I've gotta get the 5 year old from my mom and hope that I can handle the sleeplessness and him both

Today we're heading an hour away to take the wife to see a neurosurgeon to set an appointment for surgery. I'm not even sure what questions to ask. Obviously, stress is high but hopefully, the doctor will help by giving us information
