I’m in Vallarta right now. Halfway through a month long stay. Of the 10 states I’ve been to, this has some of my favorite food. Oaxaca is #1. Just crossed over into Nayarit for an overnight in Sayulita. Looking forward to seafood there.

Not enough liver. But it is a close second.

Regular pruning is the secret - pinch off the top sets of leaves (especially flower buds) to make it bushier and prevent it from getting woody and bitter, plus it’ll produce wayyy more leaves that way!

Good tip on thicker chops, and for those grill marks without drying - super hot grill for just 1-2 mins per side then finish on lower heat or in oven til internal temp hits 140F (it’ll rise to 145 while resting).

We have no cool or dry. Garage is 95f because the house attic space vents into it due to the way they added on to this 85 year old house over the decades.

lol technically that would still be chemistry AND cooking. The crystallization process is basicaly the same as making rock candy, just with way more illegal chemicals and explosions.

It’s that standard “5 minute no kneed artisan bread” recipe that lets you keep the dough in the fridge for 2 weeks. Towards the end of the clock it makes a better pizza dough than bread loaf. I’ll mix up a four unit batch and use it for whatever over a week or two.

American cheese? Because this is straight cheddar.

For a leftovers salad this looks really great. I would have been on board for this being a “proper” recipe.

Is this still available? I love animals in jars.

I was mostly thinking that maybe a nice dill pickle would go pretty good with caramelized onions and carrots. But I also assume the pickles would be heated along with the rest, and I’ve never had a hot pickle in that sense (spicy yes, actually heated no).

Or a cookie scoop.
