      This article is itself a slop article, with a hallucinated quote (google "We assumed the technology was further along than it actually was"). There does not appear to be any regret for firing, or attempt to rehire. Even the scale of original support layoffs is doubtful despite Benioff's claims, as they've called it rebalancing in other contexts.
