@pheonix It seems to me one answer is for more people to have their own websites, or even their own domains, and publish #disenshittified content, then others will link to them.Old timers and historians will say I just 'reinvented' the 20th century web and webrings. I think we can do better than that, but it would be better than the current mess, yes?

And you exercise power to take or maintain control. Not everything the wealthy do is designed to create a profit. A lot of it isn't! They spend a lot of money to control us. But that's the whole point. That's what the money is *for*.

In Iceland and Norway we have been fortunate enough to have plenty of hydro power, so use of oil has been mostly related to cars and ships.
