The best moment was as we were all being paranoid about reuniting the skull with the body of the former keep owner, thinking it would animate and attack us. As our ideas got weirder and weirder, Ji said, "Oh, these are bad ideas," in the sort of voice that says he knows from experience. Ji is our chaos factor. When HE says they're bad ideas, you've gone into truly epically bad territory. We reined it in.3/3

#WednesdayGame Well, we cleared out a building on this one too. But it was giants and ogres in their fort from which they were planning to invade the lands we were helping with. In the modern era of "not all monsters are evil," it felt less shiny.Fewer unconscious people in this one. But more PCs too. The kid really enjoyed playing their new inquisitor. The funniest part? My cleric's obedience is to basically have a party around a bonfire. We decided to do1/2#pathfinder #pf1e #ttrpg

The kid had two ideas for a new character. Ran them by me as they were concerned about one being "another squishy" in the party. We talked about how that ratio was pretty normal for this group. And it isn't that squishy. Then they built both and both were cool, in different ways. They're now drawing the Inquisitor and feel like that's the one they want to play. Which is cool, because I felt like that's the one they wanted to play most, but is also the one they thought might be too squishy.

#WednesdayGame Welp, we got stuck in a murder room for a while, but we got out before too long. Joke was on them, we messed 'em up after we got out. There are still many giants and ogres in the fort, but we retreated to fight another day. Guerrilla warfare, ladies! I think there will be more fireballs from a distance coming for them in their future.#pathfinder #ttrpg

The best part was the GM saying, "I think I should have prepped the next module."3/3

#WednesdayGame Yep, the master of the guard lady totally stabbed us in the back, literally. Too bad she didn't survive. Turns out she was the third hag. Not so surprising. We made it to the fort this week, and kicked around a bunch of useless ideas for busting down the palisades. So, I decided the smart thing to do was to do recon... watch for patterns of movement. And then it turned into our kind of recon mission when I rolled a 3 on my stealth roll. Initiatives next wk!#pathfinder #ttrpg

#WednesdayGame We made it into the Druidic repository, where we were warned that if we intended no harm to nature, we'd be fine. We've been fighting creatures since the front door... I guess we didn't pass that test.We met the ... master of the guard or something. Decided honesty might work and told her we were there to get some weapons to help us fight the invading orcs. She agreed to help us get to the cache, but I'm not so sure she's not going to turn on us.#pathfinder #ttrpg

I did realize he's wrong! I had a very nice cleric in the Ironfang Invasion story. That's why she had to retire half-way through the campaign. The brutality of the war just wore her down. She was a cleric to Erastil, and was just looking for a nice community to settle down in and support them. She settled in Longshadow, after we successfully defended it against the invading army, and married the barkeep. It was a lovely wrap up to her story. Then I made a totally irresponsible sorcerer.

She did give us some good information for our end goal of attacking an orc fort in the mountains. And it was the right thing to do, you know.C's character would maybe do that, having been a guerilla, but I should have known better.Anyway, we made a plan with the NPC and are ready to sail on. Delivery of the goods will be on the way back down the river, rather than leaving them for the next group to wander through. They may play next week, but I'll be away.

#WednesdayGame OK, so let's see... we buckled down this week and made it through more than one encounter. We were not less random.First, the gorallon (something like that) got loose on the ship and we were told not to kill it! We managed. Some of the group started looking into how it got out, but the captain didn't seem to care, so I just let it lie. Then, when we were up on deck talking about what the rest of the team found, the GM asked me, "hey, do you lean back🧵#pathfinder #ttrpg

@DejahEntendu I read "couldn't have the party and the fire on the boat" like some variation of the lion, the goat and the lettuce puzzle

#WednesdayGame still battling our way through the invasion by the orcs. And then a giant showed up! And no one has any spells left. But I'm excited, because we're playing Giantslayer and we all have cool feats specific to battling giant-type creatures.#pathfinder #ttrpg

#WednesdayGame: Well, the invasion started. First we saved someone from the local racist hooligans. We were trying not to kill the locals, but in the end, we killed the leader, since he was leading the racist idiots. Funny bit: we use crit cards rather than double damage in our game. I crit one of the hooligans, and it said I carved my initials into him! It was some nice flair. Since I killed the NPC, though, I used my Stabilize osiron to keep him from actually dying.#pathfinder #ttrpg

#WednesdayGame: We started up a #Pathfinder 1e game. We're playing Giantslayer. And trying to solve a murder right now. Which is SO not our wheelhouse! First, we're not subtle. Second, we're more than a little ADHD and forgetful. Third, I'm not sure any of us appreciate mysteries in general. We interviewed a skittergoat tonight. It was kindness itself and agreed to be friends with our monkey goblin.I'm pretty sure we gave the GM a headache. Then the town was attacked!#ttrpg
