@Tim_Eagon Collections of any length really but books if that makes sense.
@Taskerland Barring something like Dungeon Magazine, the best scenario collection of all time IMO is The Great Old Ones for Call of Cthulhu.

@Taskerland @Tim_Eagon what was that one for 5e in the last couple of years? Set in a city on a different plane, I think.
@Da_Gut @Taskerland Journeys Through the Radiant Citadel. I think it's overrated. As far as 5e anthologies featuring original adventures go, Candlekeep Mysteries is way better IMO.

@SJohnRoss I think that's part of what interests me about the format. Quite often there'll be one banger that probably prompted the anthology in the first place, then some solid pieces, then stuff included for space

That would make an interesting hook for an adventure: A community is told in no uncertain terms that their gods were a sham. 6 months after the first lot of adventurers leave, the community is spiritually bereft, they slide into nihilistic mystical weirdness causing problems for other villages.
