The old version actually framed the image preview, but the new one doesn't. Just using the circle doesn't seem very accurate.

How can I know what an image preview will look ilke to someone who doesn't display full images in their timeline? The new "Add Images…" interface doesn't show anything different when I move the circle.

Ah, I see. When I post my game scores, I click on the "copy" icon (looks like two overlapping pieces of paper) on the game's site, then paste it into the #Mastodon "compose" box, adding emoji(s) and or links.

Thanks for the reply. Sorry, I don't understand what you mean even after Googling both "score posts" and "window/API."

I entered TEST 3 via Apple's emoji picker in the #Mastodon site in #Firefox. TEST 4 was a copy/paste of TEST 3.
