@RuthSalter I am only an amateur enthusiast when it comes to studying folklore (and my day job must take precedence over pursuing a second PhD), but I am gradually realizing just how relevant such studies are even in the modern day.If your thesis gets published somewhere as Open Access, I'd be happy to take a look!
