I'm not sure how he has shot himself in the foot. He's winning. Seems like things are working out just fine for him.

No. He won't. He will never see a single repercussion. His goons might, someday, eventually.

There isn't a point.

They "rule" because we have agreed to let them rule. We agreed to let them rule as long as they are honoring the Bill of Rights.

They are not doing that. They have violated the contract that gives them permission to rule.

Of course, that doesn't mean a goddamned thing because they have all of the power and we have most of the stupid, but thems the facts.

"Yes. He is."
"Not him, the other one."
"Who?"

And see if the number really is 90%.
