ok wowstory time, so I had straight A's pretty much all through school until my junior year, when I tested super well and got into AP classes for English, History and Philosophy... and then failed all three of them
I was smart enough to pass the entrance exams but the classes themselves and the insane amount of reading and homework broke my brain. the English teacher really hated me. at one point she told my mom, "that girl needs therapy." yeah no shit, lady. I had undiagnosed ADHD🤨
