@atomicpoet Hell yeah, that's awesome! Nextcloud is such a great piece of software, and it's getting better every day. If calls on Nextcloud Talk get too laggy, the high-performance backend (which is a bit of a PITA to set up, but makes it scale well) can really help!

@atomicpoet It's always been a balance of embracing new technologies (and reaping the benefits it might have - while also dealing with the constant distraction of shiny new things) vs. staying narrow and fighting scope creep, but potentially becoming obsolete.

I feel like as we become older, we all lean towards the latter. And sometimes, that's a good thing (I'm glad I ignored the whole serverless and crypto stuff), and sometimes it's a bad thing (very happy I jumped on the k8s bandwagon)

@atomicpoet I honestly just look at it the same way we look at spreadsheet-driven development and Visual Basic now. A good way to get non-technical people to write applications for their own narrow use cases, in narrow runtime environments (like browsers), with narrow, non-critical use cases.

These new Apple ads are incredible. I hope that one day we see something similar for Free ecosystems.
