Station agent sounds cool. I burned out on programming years ago but still have to do it, so I highly respect anyone who can escape screens for real life.
What does your friend do now? EG piloting trains, managing MTA servers...?
Out of sheer nerdiness, I've lately considered coding a metro train simulation to optimize shorter trip times. (That will go on my stack of neglected hobbies.)

It's not the fascists' opinions that matter.
Once anti-fascists initiate violence, we lose the judges, we lose the citizens, we lose the sympathy of non-corrupt law enforcement.
Those people's minds are the actual battlefield which determines whether we win or lose.
The big tell for us was that the war urgently needed to happen but Bush couldn't show us proof *why* because it was too classified. Dude you're the president, if you can't declassify then it doesn't exist.
