@stux My son bruised his leg months ago and is still an issue. He can't drive if in pain. His new podiatrist is able to help, feels just a bad bruise. There is an anti-pain cream that has helped a lot but also advice on how to help it heal.

@stux It’s like Musk being listed as a founder of Tesla by paying money to the actual founders. It’s all performative to these people.

@stux This also applies to mass transit. I've seen car commuters who appreciate it, but at one meeting I attended about adding tolls to an Interstate (Hiway) people were protesting and the only solution that would accept for how that money would be spent was widening the road. They could not comprehend that if we used the toll money to get people off of the road (mass transit, assisting car pooling, bike lanes) then their drives would be easier.

@stux Trump sees the Peace Prize the same as Elon envisions himself as a founder. You can have it by buying it, no need to have taken the action which would earn you the title.

@stux At first look without my reading glasses it look like they are drinking a martini.

@stux Reminds me of the highlight of my weekend. I was driving on a 2 lane road — one lane in each direction — with a double-yellow line (no passing). A Tesla passed me and in 30 seconds I was passed by a Park Police car which then pulled over the Tesla.

So stupid, we were less than a mile from an intersection and the Tesla had good odds of not being behind me after the intersection.

2nd time this year someone ticketd for illegally passing me.

@stux While I have a car and drive it 23 times a week, I refuse to live anywhere where driving a car is the only option to get around.

@stux One serves a useful function, the other is trash.

@stux What I really want is for Adobe to use a consistent numbering system. Yes, you have InDesign 2025 and PhotoShop 2025 but their version numbers are different and drives me crazy as an IT administrator trying to figure out if everyone is running the most current version.

@stux you don’t need a placeholder just ask her, or her ask you, and then both agree. We did that over 30 years ago.
