@valthonis main brain brings me back to this point a lot.
People that have zero empathy, and that can only change their mind when it impacts them, seems utterly outside of what buulding a requires.
So how do you build a society with them?
When you build a society outside of them, they do their best to destroy it.
It feels hard to build a society around them (I guess this is presupposedly what happened after WWII when we got free education, free healthcare etc.)
