This is my theory on how they will normalize deep fakes. But hey, if there is money to be made, it will be idiotic not to do it, right? Finally, re-introduce Metaverse for the dead, now powered by AI.
This will be a mockery on grieving people. Put everyone on an eternal subscriptions to keep the avatars of deceased running. They won't be able to stop paying, because that would feel like murder.
This reminds me of the movie called Upload, which has a positive take on grief-tech.
