@stux I think we miscommunicated. I thought you switched the names and positions of the Stop killing games guy with the fake guy, who is basically opposing all of it on behalf of game devs lol.

The last time there is a whole lot of controversy around the dude "Pirate Software" aka Thor aka Jason@stux I don't know what that is, but I've seen 3 or 4 interviews with Thor/Jason, im not confused about who he is at all, and I appreciate the efforts he has put into stop killing games? You keep saying things, but these things don't jive with the interviews he has given.
Is the gaming industry THAT pissed at him?? Time to accuse him of sex crimes, too?? Wow.

The last time there is a whole lot of controversy around the dude "Pirate Software" aka Thor aka Jason@stux I have literally watched numerous videos of him campaigning for stop killing games, and I've listened to him talk about it at length on several streams recently, and I have no idea what you are saying.

The last time there is a whole lot of controversy around the dude "Pirate Software" aka Thor aka Jason@stux ahhh, yes, its time to discredit and bad jacket one of the main "stop killing games" people who has managed to attract a good amount of international attention to the cause, including an EU VP.

Human nature is as profane as it is sublime.@Jackgiantkiller totally. There is research that shows the human brain gets weird when contemplating big numbers of things, and has an easier time "comparing than counting", I think is how it goes. This has implications for how people contemplate all of this.
I cant find the exact science Im talking about on the internet right now... lol... of course. there was one study in particular that discussed that mechanism vs large societies.

Human nature is as profane as it is sublime.@Jackgiantkiller we also have solid evidence spanning 10,000s of years that we were mostly egalitarian, mostly communal, and mostly supportive of one another UP UNTIL we grouped up into larger societies which required "governors" or "managers" or "leaders" of some kind, which threw gasoline on the fires of higher ape impulses and led us to where we are now.
We are much better people than we realize. The indigenous folks teach us this. We change based on our surroundings.
