Most Americans consume either no news, state propaganda (e.g., Fox, CBS), elite propaganda (e.g., WaPo, NYT), or junk news (most online sources) and thus have a poor grasp of what is happening and almost zero context for why.@gwynnion this may be the "nobody is a prophet in their own land" thing. I know plenty of people that can talk for hours about what is wrong with US and then fail to see that they are doing the same shit (maybe just on a smaller scale) at their silly little village somewhere on the arse-end of Europe.
