started playing Horizon Forbidden West My current favorite when I want to play something relaxing. So lush. So beautiful. I am on my second playthrough, heading towards a certain oligarch's tomb - but I am in no rush.My playstyle continues to be as someone who tries to snipe at things from a long distance, although I try not to overdo it because I don't want to run out of resources - Volatile Sludge isn't so common that it would allow me to be wasteful with it. I haven't really engaged with the expanded melee system - as far as I am concerned, if someone charges me in melee I want to get *away* from them.I miss the tripwire mazes I could plant in the first game, but I can see why they toned it down. On the other hand, overriding machines is no longer as useful - for one thing you need to hunt a lot of resources to fix Corrupted Machine Overrides, and for another there are so many Apex machines around that finding normal machines to override becomes tricky.Still, I am looking forward to how the third games play out - both in terms of story and in terms of mechanics.
