@madhu_shrieks most people that seem terrible, upon investigation turn out to be merely ignorant. Not that it matters a lot for the end results of their actions of course. But in most cases it's theoretically curable ( in my limited experience). That gives me a sliver of hope.

@joe I think we agree on that, but I don't understand why you put the "no" there. It doesn't contradict anything I said, does it?

@crazyeddie ianal but it seems to me:

1 there's a material difference between an accusation and an execution.

2. for it to be slander, the accusation needs to be false.

Anyway, anything goes in the us these days, so you might still be right for all I know.
