It's white people's responsibility to stop racism.
It's men's responsibility to stop sexism.
It's cis people's responsibility to stop transphobia.
It's straight people's responsibility to stop homophobia.
It's able people's responsibility to stop ableism.
It's always the responsibility of the people in a position of privilege to stop the oppression they are benefiting from.
If you are part of a privileged group, in one way or another, get to it.
I feel this needs to be repeated 
The annoyance of cookie banners
doesn't come from the regulations, but from the malicious compliance of the corporations who want to exploit your personal data.
No data-harvesting cookies = No banner.
Simple.
My websites have no cookie banners,
because they don't use any non-essential cookies and don't track visitors.
Yours shouldn't either.
It's incredible to me how we gave up on so many aspects of privacy in the past five years. Things that we were taking for granted not long ago.
Now, some think it's totally normal to record others without their consent in any contexts.
People feel entitled to others' images and personal lives, incessantly demanding access to it. Everyone needs to share everything publicly online or be deemed suspicious, and excluded.
This has greatly errored the fabric of social relationships and trust in our societies.
There is so much we need to do to heal this culture and the damages that have been done and continue to be done.
We need to treat each other with respect. Genuine respect as human beings. And consent, true consent with true choices, is at the center of that.
Chat Control is one of the most important issue for human rights and democracy in the West right now.
There is little time left to fight back!

If you are not European: Spread the word! Talk about it on social media. Contact your local media. Contact your representatives to share your concerns about similar proposals and the loss of privacy rights. This would affect you too!
This is an urgent matter. We cannot let the West slip in this authoritarian dystopia.
