@Homebrewandhacking It might actually be a case of attaching a JSON file or similar the more I look into it 
I'm not 100% certain to be honest. I suspect that you can add arbitrary metadata in addition to standard fields.
In theory that would be good for machine-readability and so on but if nobody is doing it I probably won't hold my breath.

From what I've seen so far, people set Title, and only sometimes.
I have questions for people who publish RPG materials in PDF.
Do you make significant use of PDF metadata?
Are you aware of any standard for RPG PDF metadata?
Do you have one yourself?
Or is it not really a thing in your day to day?
