@CactuarJoe it's got to be something with the weather, even being indoors in a relatively cool room. My sleep has just been crap after the holiday (it was pretty crummy over the holiday as well). I can have "perfect" sleep hygiene, go to bed early, no screen time, yada yada yada, and I'll still wake up at 4:30 in the morning worrying my head off about *everything* when I can't do a thing about any of it. Also, not remembering dreams, but remembering being stressed out in them. Ughhhhh

Mstdn.social is run by one person (who is awesome!) and that instance has THOUSANDS of users.
Beige is also super fab, but we are waaaay smaller (fewer than 1000 users).
I have a regular small donation going out to @stux (and one to my beige admin, of course) every month, and I try to kick in more when I can.
These fine folks really should not have to be paying out-of-pocket to keep the rest of us online.

TV died :/@CactuarJoe Can we even get non-smart TVs anymore? I am babying my 2010 plasma screen and I've got another flatscreen out in the garage that my mom didn't want anymore that just needs some connectors cleaned (according to the internet). I guess now technically I'm hoarding non-smart TVs?

Driving out a bus with so called "illegal immigrants" but at the last moment skip the turn to the airport because on the last moment is decided they cannot throw you out of the country@stux 100% agreed. They are playing the kind of mind games that end up exhausting people and making everybody numb to their evil. It's exactly what the third reich did, too.
