Had a moment of reflection on the #enshittification of the internet, specifically search, while trying to find some good recipes to help my daughter who's taking an interest in learning to cook.
When I was a teenager and a college student in the 00s, I could just type a dish into search and usually on the first page find something that looked straight out of GeoCities talking about the techniques and ingredients full of love for the food, not just the SEO.
Now recipe searches are crapshoots.
