Your starting point for negotiations isn’t body cameras, it’s immediate dissolution of ICE, round up and imprison every single ICE agent, and burn Steven Miller’s house to the ground. Then, when you compromise, you’ve started from a position where you haven’t preemptively ceded everything republicans want.

Of course that presupposes that democrats have a problem with current events other than the fascism being a bit too loud, which is gauche and unfashionable.
