    i'm reading so many very conflicting reports, especially now that some of these services are now using ML crap instead of human beings in their printing processes.

    book details:
    - 400 pages b+w
    - color front cover

      @vga256

      I am using KDP, and I haven't heard any complaints - although it's been a few years since I ordered the latest print copy for myself.

      I don't know where exactly in this process they use ML. But a few years ago I uploaded both the interior and cover PDFs, ordered print proofs, and then made adjustments. Once you finalize the layout, that should be it.
