I am in a cafeteria and someone is loudly talking his head off in what might be an interview but the interviewer is barely getting in a word edgewise.

He's talking about how he doesn't like rules but does follow them when he knows someone is watching. He's talking about pushing work into others. He's insulting work others have done. Oh, there's a quick humble-brag for good measure.

I don't care if you use Marijuana, my dude, but you are interviewing in a state where that is not legal. Maybe don't put your interviewer in this position.

OH now he's talking about "my generation versus YOUR generation."

I would not hire this person. He sounds as if he would be difficult to manage. And he's loud.

OH NO YOU DIDN'T! SAYING GEN X MIGHT AS WELL BE BOOMERS?

There may not be as many of us in Gen X, but we're still here. And we are not Boomers.

And now he's taking about birth order and how some folks are just crazy because of their birth order.

If I stick around long enough I feel like he's going to start talking about evolutionary psychology.

I hope this guy gets a kindly worded letter that tells him they've decided to pursue other candidates.
