@yon@sakurajima.moe I feel that with most anime villains, there is something usually “wrong” with them. Very rarely do see a villain who just has a different set of priorities than the hero or is deeply sympathetic.

They’re most often sociopaths, petty tyrants, psychos, or morally unsound. I think that’s why you get so many of these batmanesque Joker villains.
