Reading a 45 year old Star Wars comic about the Rebels coming across a disabled Star Destroyer and boarding it. And the moment someone sees dead Imperial officers, instantly the command goes out to mask up and only let the medical droids touch anything. And when the crew comes back to base they immediately set up a containment facility to have everyone checked up by droids.
I have never heard of any such thing happening in a Space Plague story before. What daring writing!
