Extra saucy so we can dip the bread. But also because there weren’t quite 8 oz of pasta left in that open box.

Someone who doesn’t bake but accidentally had a bag of flour gave me the bag they had so that cut about 65¢ off the costs.

    Cost per person, $1.71

As a carbivore, this is my kind of meal.

Fresh bread and butter is comfort food.

Some people freak out at the idea of having two large sources of carbs in a meal. The charge in texture and flavor adds a lot for very little money.

I see nothing wrong with this meal.

Is it just me or do others also like to spread their butter out evenly on their bread?

I kind of go either way on that. In this case, I tossed it in the residually heated oven so that butter was liquid soft and could be spread easily by rubbing it on another piece of bread.

Yeah man, either way, love me a good sized portion of butter on my bread.
