The National Association for Public Defense has put out some information about the Trump Administration's plan to stop applying the Prison Rape Elimination Act to trans and non-binary individuals.

It's easy to write off people who've committed crimes as less than human or deserving punishment, but *no one* deserves to be sexually assaulted and this move to strip protections from assault is bullshit.
