The Malay word "Comot" doesn't seem to have an English equivalent. It means "Messy in an endearing way" and is usually reserved for babies and cats.

@KeithAmmann@dice.camp @ubi@ecoevo.social The thing is that comot can also refer to things like...smudged handwriting, smudged chocolate on faces. Is it messy? Yes. But it can also mean untidy/dirty (but in an endearing sense).
It's a bit of a difficult to define it since it has a fairly transient meaning, I guess. -
