@forestine People shoot fireworks off starting a week or two before and up to a month after. The basic problem is that people *have* fireworks around the 4th. Very little is “official”. 2am this morning someone shot some off very close to my window on the third floor.

@forestine @griotspeak There's a guy on my street that starts setting off fireworks three weeks early, yeah. Only a couple per day, but he's out there every evening as soon as the sun is mostly down. -_-;
