Hello! I’m Nate from the Midwest, USA and I’m new to Mastodon. I’m a long time advocate for environmental protections and stewardship, but I’ve recently had my eyes fully opened to the extent and calculated indifference of the capitalist, extactionist machine. Reading books like This Changes Everything, How to Hide an Empire, Silent Spring, and The Shock Doctrine have brought me into the company of you more enlightened folks.
