    There are people tracking ICE, guarding kids at school dropoffs/pickups, running mutual aid networks.

      We have agency.

      We can learn from the past and do better.

      We can learn not only from the horros of the past, but from *successful reform and resistance movements,* of which there are dozens, in our own history and those of other nations.

            @MisuseCase @StefanEJones I feel we white Christian people are the ones who most need to be reminded of our duty. Too many of my siblings in Christ have completely lost track of Jesus' answer to the question "who is my neighbor?" If a stupid meme helps get their attention, I'm for it.

            No, to Stefan's point, it's not helpful in terms of telling people WHAT they should do. But before they reach that point, they need to realize that they must do SOMETHING. And for that, I think the meme works.
