@kainino0x Once we do that, do our brains turn back into cucumbers? 🥒

@kainino0x all credit due to Cydney Hayes for making me sound coherent!

@kainino0x @anildash JFC, Anil. And here I'm trying to figure out if I can even touch this industry again while respecting my mental health.

Without somehow building and selling my own product, these days, I don't see it. I don't want to work for these twisted shitbags.

@kainino0x @anildash Read your article on working as a dev in 2026. I do contemplate software outside of Tech. It's even harder given my likely inability to do a 9-5 again. Just not enough spoons.

It's likely a far far worse time to be neurodivergently "disabled" in Tech.

This leaves me all the more worried about my roommate's job prospects. They're a brilliant coder and software engineer... and I suspect the only reason they haven't become the latest tragic news story is their skin color. And they were laid off last year because in the face of Trump, the green energy infrastructure company they were working for made a very hard pivot (and then flailed, thrashed, and died, so even if they'd kept their job...).
