thinking about streaming my replay of Earthbound, would anybody be interested?

i have been trying to get OBS into zoom for a streaming show i'm doing tomorrow and i'm frustrated to the point of tears
but i'm making some tea and resetting up my gaming profile because what is going on with obs
and then earthbound stream. soon.
it made me update OBS because i was apparently several versions behind and everything looks different now and it was hell trying to force a light mode again and it's not my system's light mode anymore with the cute pink highlights
the lesson is never update OBS

the zoom setting "optimize for highest quality music" under "original audio for musicians" makes it NOT HAVE ANY AUDIO

I am really close to just "never update". Every update lately just makes things worse, and I'm currently engaged in a battle with my iPad over iOS 26. -

i keep wonderimg what OBS is, thinking it's like a DAW but for video. but i just looked it up and see it's for streaming, which i'll probably never do. i always want to play with the complicated software but sometimes it's better if i just leave it alone.

Wish I'd had that choice, but my Mac is a work computer and they forced the update on me. -

@burnitdown it's mostly great, open source software for streaming. we use it for earth modular society and i also use it for my game streams. i had a good run with it working fine until today's update
