@atomicpoet it has become a common bit of knowledge... I think... that bad news flies faster than good. It's why social media platforms struggle to be positive places.

Chris Alemany Humans are hardwired to pay more attention to threats than to neutral or positive signals. That’s why it’s so easy to exploit that bias because fear, outrage and conflict drive engagement. Thus, information tilts towards crisis, not opportunity.

@atomicpoet I will say that the information you receive has always moved at a steady pace.
The faucet for the information just keeps getting bigger.
Also, we can now bypass filters that were put in place to sort through it.
We have to do this ourselves now.

Marcus "MajorLinux" Summers That’s so true. It’s a lot more effort nowadays to find the good amongst all the bad.
