One of the quiet benefits of in person games is the ability to cook for the group.

Now it’s a pain in the ass, but I’m mildly orderly with a firm grasp on my schedule. I can manipulate things, do a little overtime, leave early, cook dinner and then everyone eats at the same time.

If I leave it to the players, it’s a total clusterfuck. People are incredibly bad at feeding themselves. Some are late, some are distracted and eating mid game, and others are starved (and distracted by the guy with a sandwich) because they couldn’t orchestrate it.

Being able to just sit everyone down and feed them smoothed out so many problems.
