    Reasons audiophile turntables suck:

    They’re needy little divas. You’re forever brushing the stylus, fiddling with speed accuracy, and tweaking anti-skate like it’s a Formula 1 pit stop.

    Can they sound superb? Sure. But not necessarily better than a CD player—which delivers flawless playback with none of the ritualistic babysitting.

      @atomicpoet However It never ceases to amaze me how a turntable and stylus turn the grooves in a round piece of plastic into beautiful music!
