Yay! We won Minnesota! ICE is out! Somali people will no longer be stopped by ICE for being Somali! Now they're back to being stopped by cops for being Black!5 year olds will no longer be detained for being immigrants like Liam Ramos! We're back to detaining 4 year olds after shooting their dad!
Now listen! Here's what we're going to do! We're going to decrease ICE funding, and increase police funding! We can't have any ICE abuse, but we need more police abuse!
And I don't want any of you ungrateful Black men that have had guns pointed in your face for no reason to complain about it!
We can't have ICE driving to elementary schools and following school buses! That is horrific! Barbaric! Abusive!

When will the US actually finish Reconstruction?
What will any Democratic majority in Congress do differently from the last time?
Because unless those have good answers, the US is still in a downward spiral

Cops in LA would joke and threaten to murder young Black people in the exact manner as George Floyd was killed. No one believed Black people about this.
The "star" witness in the OJ case was a cop that bragged about him and his friends murdering 12 people this way, until civil rights organizations banned them from using the chokehold so they couldn't pretend that it was an accident anymore.
"When I came on the job all my training officers were big guys and knowledgeable, some [n-word]'d get in their face, they just spin 'em around, choke 'em out until they dropped."
"No, we have to eliminate a choke hold because a bunch of [n-words] down in the south end of L.A. said this is bad."
"We stopped the choke because a bunch of [n-words] have a bunch of these organizations in the south end, and because all [n-words] are choked out and killed -- twelve in ten years. Really is extraordinary, isn't it?"

@vaurora @mekkaokereke My opinion: you can’t have a democracy with only two parties because you can’t hold either party accountable. And once you’re down to two parties it’s nearly impossible to crawl back out of that situation because electoral reform benefits neither party.

@vaurora @mekkaokereke My opinion: you can’t have a democracy with only two parties because you can’t hold either party accountable. And once you’re down to two parties it’s nearly impossible to crawl back out of that situation because electoral reform benefits neither party.
