Today I learned that there are anti drug / anti homeless vigilantes who are going around San Francisco spraying random homeless people with Narcan. Even if they’re not OD-ing. They’re just asleep. This is so unreasonably cruel.
The dehumanization of entire groups of people occurs even among people who consider themselves a certain way. It shows me that the default mode for many is punish those who aren’t in the in group.
