The filling is potatoes, peas, carrots, onion, mustard & cumin seed along with curry powder and granulated garlic.

The sauce is yogurt, lemon juice, dried dill and a little bit of cream.

The dough didn’t bubble up and get as crispy as I wanted but it’s still tasty. Unintentionally vegetarian.

    Cost per person: $1.50

That looks delicious, and healthy given the nature of the sauce and that you’ve baked rather than deep-fry them.

Good question. Maybe just lightly basted with just a smidgen of some light oil. Unfortunately I haven’t got an air fryer.

I have one that’s a combination toaster oven and air fryer. it really comes in handy, especially since cleanup is far simpler than actually frying anything.

Nice. If you decide to try it, I’d certainly be interested in hearing how it turned out.

These were basted with olive oil. Which is part of the disappointment. I expect an air fryer would do better but then I’d have to work in batches.
