Even "predator class" doesn't really cover it.
Some might call them "immoral", but, really, they're "amoral" sociopaths. -

I appreciate the term "Epstein Class" but we should also bring back "Robber Barons" into modern usage.

What's especially galling about the whole Gilded Age Robber Baronism was the fact it was *Republican Progressives* who pushed through the anti-trust laws, finance reform, and 'health and safety' regulations which finally broke their power and allowed the rise of effective Union labor power.
Today both major parties are owned by modern Robber Barons, the Unions do shit, and, unless something changes soon, we may never get a chance to do it over again.
