Respond to fascists with cats in their photos with: Your supremacy, Chairman Meow, agrees that your life is worthless as a racist stain. You should probably go get hit by a car, for fun. Chairman Meow orders it
@PhoenixSerenity I meet lots of Chinese MAGA supporters. And yes, they also tend to be Communist Party supporters. I donât really get itâbut it seems to me theyâre more nationalist than believers in socialism. They like what the Communist Party does because they perceive itâs successful at business and therefore developing China. -

@atomicpoet No one in the East or West knows or has ever experienced full out communism. I've traveled & I felt safer on mafia streets of Vietnam than I ever felt safe in any huge metro city in Canada. Even when walking in rough areas of HK - never felt unsafe. I felt unsafe a LOT in many big Canadian cities & almost all USA cities I've been to before. I'm unsure how long your wife has been here but I'm a Vietnam war baby & it's highly likely that your wife had/has much more privileges than me & my family ever had in our lives.

@PhoenixSerenity My wife was born in Hong Kong but has basically been here since she was five-years-old. Has returned to Hong Kong a few times since.
Something Iâve discovered talking to lots of immigrants to the USA is that the American dream is basically a cult. People will overlook many terrible things if they believe they have an opportunity to âmake itâ. -

It's just a fact. Many of my cousins are the same.

@PhoenixSerenity Whether or not you believe she is privileged, please be kind. My wife just attended her grandfatherâs funeral last week and sheâs in mourning.
And just so you know, he was a World War II survivor. -

And just so you know, he was a World War II survivor.@atomicpoet That does not mean much to me. It actually sounds like you're trying to justify your wife's privileges & that isn't helping you or her. Especially when you're talking to a living war survivor. Don't do this again.

@PhoenixSerenity Absolutely, talk about privilege all you wantâno oneâs stopping you.
But dragging her ancestors into it, especially right after her grandfather died? Thatâs not just insensitive, itâs downright callous.
Basic decency means you show some respect for someoneâs loss. Thereâs a time and a place for everything, and this isnât it. -

@PhoenixSerenity Nope, you brought her ancestors into this. See screenshot. Thatâs the receipt.
Until now, Iâve gotten along with you.
But it is bad form to make such a statement, especially right now.
Be kind to people or donât be. That is up to you. -

Be kind to people or donât be. That is up to you.@atomicpoet I brought ancestors in general. You chose to bring up your dead in law to gain sympathy.
You also chose to ignore the fact I've been posting about my dead Dad for 2 years but chose to insert your wife's dead Dad here. GTFO with your fake ass compassion when it wasn't extended to others.

Ms. Que Banh I donât care about gaining sympathyâthatâs not how I work.
I just donât like talking about ancestors like that right now. Maybe you saw it as a general statement but considering whatâs been happening, it just didnât sit right.
