I’d disagree, maybe Karlach would think that of herself but not what the reality was. That said she does seem more flippant and casual about the use of soul coins so idk

I thought the whole redemption and trying to be a better person thing was well communicated as part of the game. She didn’t shy away from saying how horrible she was in hell.

She deserted because she was made to do some fucked up shit, and they don’t beat around the bush about this in the game.

Yeah not to mention she wasnt exactly a willing participant. That coupled with trying to redeem herself and be better and also being a hot muscled demon mommy, is all I need to forgive her.

I’m a bit confused here, I mean maybe I’m missing something but the whole point of her recruitment was to kill other demons in hell. If you’re killing horrible murderers because you’re forced to do so, that might blacken the soul a bit, yes, but does it mean she was really ‘a piece of work’?

I think it refers to her character, not her conduct

I feel like this article is just to drive engagement? Like, if you’ve played the game, you know that she was, and literally her whole arc is about how she wants to be free and be a better person. Plus she was in indentured servitude. She was basically just a weapon of war, hence wanting to get out and be free.

In our current age, I think that your first sentence is almost always true.

Nah, I think PC Gamer just doesn’t understand how quickly I can forgive a hot muscle mommy. idc how many demons she’s killed if she can hold me against her abs and punch someone’s skull off for yelling at me
