    from the article:

CBC News has examined both sets of records. At time of publication, the searchable website of the Israel Tax Authority details 2025 imports of Canadian “bullets” and other military hardware of a kind that Ottawa has said are not being, and cannot be, shipped to Israel.

The shipping data gives detailed tracking of military equipment that traces back to the door of one of Canada’s biggest arms companies, as recently as last week.

The report does not “suggest”, it shows.

This is why CBC is so important and why the Conservatives always want to defund it.

It’s funny, the CBC have played nice with Conservatives for the last couple decades, seemingly to undercut the right-wing claims that they’re biased and therefore should be defunded.

I don’t know if ironic is the right word, but now it’s Carney’s Liberal government preparing to cut their budget by 15%, so I’m amazed this story got published!

We need to enshrine guaranteed funding for the CBC and end the partisan games that force them to have to triangulate their editorial position.
