Bell, Telus and Rogers should merge. Then we nationalize them as the public entity they always should have been.

So this whole thing is BS, we as Canadians should not be paying for cable as all Canadian cable basic packages pay for US networks and we should not be paying US networks. I will admit that I could be wrong about the French basic networks. Canadians should pay for the Canadian channels if they want them. The shows I want to watch I can still watch on Global TV, CTV, CityTV, or CBC apps the day after the only channel I pay for is CBC because I wanna occasionally see the news. I am seriously considering paying for TSN cause I occasionally want to watch Canadian or international sporting events. I did have some very basic streaming service from my ISP for basic cable viewing but when the boycott started I called them up and I cancelled it, as soon as they started their attempt to keep me I told them that I simply was not going to pay for a service that I needed to pay for US things when there was alternative ways to not pay for them.

To be fair I do not really pay for the US shows offered on the CityGV, CTV, or Global the day after they are aired because I use a pihole to block the ads!

But more to the point of the title of this article Tells, Bell, and Rogers are a freakin duopoly that work together. The proof of of this is in Saskatchewan, the only place they have real competition where they have to act competitively with Sasktel.
