FYI - I HAVE TAKEN THE FINAL BACKUPS BEFORE MIGRATION - The TTRPG network
Just wanted to let everyone know, I have taken the final backups before migration. I decided to leave the site up for now while the backup is worked on at the new host THIS MEANS ALL POSTS/DATA GOING FORWARD WILL NOT BE LIVE ON THE NEW HOST. I’m leaving this up only for convenience of the users to continue to browse the fediverse. Note that any comments and posts you send out will be federated, but they won’t be on the new host once we are up and running. There will be an outage at some point this weekend as we swap over to the new host.

How are you so good? Do you practice and learn a lot about drawing?

Oh wow thanks, that’s very kind. To be honest, this is kinda my current ADHD hobby so I haven’t done a ton of it, im just a guy who enjoys fantasy and watched a youtube video on maps. But I’ve dabbled in art stuff before, so there’s that. And also, I draw everything in pencil first. That last one sounds small, and I refused to for years because it felt like “extra steps,” but it makes a difference. I have the feeling any polish you’re seeing is the result of drafting in pencil first and patience to do the details right. Those two alone work wonders. If you can draw a simple, tiny thing the same way a bunch of times and have the patience to do so properly instead of rushing through, you can do a lot with maps already. The rest is refinement

That is awesome that you are this good just with drawing stuff in pencil that you’ve seen on YouTube. Hats off to you!!
