If what he is doing isn’t illegal should he be barred?

Its not like has going away, if anything this is a martyrdom and makes him more popular, and here we are all reading about some crappy band.

Hate speech is illegal here. We don’t have free speech like the Americans, we don’t have to tolerate the intolerant.

If gender is a spectrum and fluid then could he not believe it is psychological and can be altered?

He believes it can be manipulated, which is what you are referring to as hate speech I assume?

I’m really thankful this event was cancelled, but honestly quite infuriated that their permit was approved in the first place. It shouldn’t take public outrage in order to not have fascists preaching their hateful rhetoric in public parks.

A few years ago some drag queen friends of mine received death threats before a performance in this very same park. Queer and other marginalized peoples don’t deserve to be faced with violence in a city-approved public performance.

Presumably they didn’t list “preaching hateful rhetoric” as the purpose of the event when applying for the permit, they listed “outdoor concert”.

You’d think they’d, I don’t know, google the artist before granting the permit? Even outside of fascists, there are plenty of performances I’d feel are probably inappropriate for a public park, even some I’d personally enjoy.

It’s wild to me that they’d grant a permit without doing any research into the people performing/organizing.

Well I just find it ironic that one is spreading hate by saying gender can be fluid and manipulated, which gender being a fluid construct sounds exactly like the far left as well.

Maybe I’m just not smart enough to determine what the difference is.

Gender science isn’t a political opinion no matter how much you people try to make science into politics.

You being icked out by trans people doesn’t change that transition is the best treatment for reducing their suicide rates and giving them a chance at happiness.

Do you think these people would put themselves through that, knowing that there are thousands of people like you out there trying to destroy and erase them, if it was a whim they got because they saw a rainbow flag at school?

                You can’t both sides reality.

The “centrist” / just asking questions approach to questioning established gender science will be looked on just as badly as people “just asking questions” with race pseudoscience like phrenology.

At a certain point the question itself represents bigotry. “Are non-white races less intelligent?” is no longer treated as a scientific question, but rather just a bigoted loaded question.

You’re just slow on the uptake, which I guess is the literal definition of a conservative.

That’s a good argument with yourself there.
